Chiropractic care

Chiropractic care represents a comprehensive approach to health and well-being. Drs. Beckett and Hannah at Current Chiropractic, employ spinal adjustments and other natural therapies to enable the body's self-healing mechanisms. Recognizing the spine as the protective shell of the central nervous system—which orchestrates every cell's activities—they understand that a misaligned spine can disrupt this crucial communication pathway. Through precise chiropractic techniques, Drs. Beckett and Hannah realign the spine, facilitating proper central nervous system function and supporting the body's inherent capacity for self-repair.

The common perception that chiropractors solely treat back pain is a significant misconception. In reality, chiropractic care encompasses a wide array of health conditions. At Current Chiropractic in Hermitage, TN, we regularly apply chiropractic treatments to a diverse range of issues, demonstrating the extensive scope of care provided by chiropractic professionals. Here are some examples of what we regularly treat with chiropractic care at Current Chiropractic:

What symptoms can chiropractic care treat or alleviate?

Often, individuals resort to over-the-counter or prescription medications for years to manage various conditions, only to find that the symptoms resurface as soon as the medication's effects diminish. This recurring issue arises because these medications primarily mask the pain rather than addressing its root cause.

In contrast, chiropractic care aims to tackle these conditions at their core. At Current Chiropractic we focus on examining the patient's spine to pinpoint any existing subluxations. By identifying and subsequently correcting these subluxations, he addresses the underlying cause of the pain, offering a more lasting and effective treatment solution.

Chiropractic services offered by Drs. Hannah and Beckett are not only beneficial for everyday discomforts but also for more severe health issues. The American College of Physicians, one of the world's most prominent medical organizations, now recommends spinal manipulation as a primary treatment for back pain.

A key advantage of chiropractic care is its status as a safe, natural, and effective method for addressing pain and various health conditions. In light of the global opioid crisis, where the misuse of prescription opioids poses a significant health risk, chiropractic care emerges as a natural alternative, free from the risks associated with prescription or over-the-counter medications.

The American Chiropractic Association provides insightful statistics highlighting the effectiveness and benefits of chiropractic care:
